Caring for patients with recurrent/metastatic (R/M) head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC)?

Talk to your patients about FLAGSHIP-HN

With limited effective treatment options and no cure for recurrent/metastatic (R/M) head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), the FLAGSHIP-HN clinical study is currently underway to investigate potential treatments. Consider FLAGSHIP-HN as an opportunity for your patients with R/M HNSCC to access emerging potential treatments.

FLAGSHIP-HN is a phase 2 clinical research study for patients with R/M HNSCC who have not yet been treated. This study is evaluating if a globally approved study drug for treatment of multiple advanced cancers has additive or synergistic beneficial effects when combined with an experimental study drug (the combination of both is the investigational treatment combination). The globally approved study drug is not approved for use in treating R/M HNSCC.

FLAGSHIP-HN will last up to 40 months. Over the course of the study, the study treatments will be administered as an IV infusion given about once every 3 weeks for up to 2 years.

Patients are expected to participate in this study for up to 40 months. During the study, participants will have approximately 48 study visits. Medical care related to their participation in this study, including the study treatments, will be provided at no cost. Participants or their health insurance will have to pay for their usual medical care that would be recommended even if they were not in the study. Qualified participants may receive financial compensation for each qualifying study visit that they attend.

How can you help?

FLAGSHIP-HN is enrolling approximately 120 patients with R/M HNSCC globally. The success of FLAGSHIP-HN could depend on physicians referring potential study participants. Your patients may be eligible if they:

Please note: Other protocol-defined inclusion/exclusion criteria apply.

The study team will check your patient’s full medical history to see if they meet all inclusion criteria and none of the exclusion criteria. Diversity in clinical studies is critical to developing better treatments – help ensure that your patients are represented.
If you have potentially eligible and interested patients, empower them with options and discuss the FLAGSHIP-HN study. You may also contact the nearest study site to refer them.
